Interpreter Strip

What languages do you speak?  Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Scouters can earn the BSA Interpreter Strip for each language they speak!

The requirements are:

  1. Carry on a five-minute conversation in the language.
  2. Translate a two-minute speech or address.
  3. Write a letter in the language (does not apply to sign languages).
  4. Translate 200 words from the written word.

COUNSELORS WANTED – Are you fluent in a foreign language?  The MDSC International Committee is promoting the BSA Interpreter Strip and maintains a database of counselors.
