Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills Training

WHAT:  IOLS Training is a fun-filled overnight program of hands-on skill training designed to help Boy Scout and Varsity program leaders learn the basic skills necessary for a scout to advance from Tenderfoot to First Class.

WHO:  Required for all Scoutmasters &, Assistant Scoutmasters.

WHEN:  Fri-Sat, April 13-14, 2018

Check-in: Friday 5:00 PM;

Training Session:  Friday April 13 @ 6:00 pm – Saturday April 14, 5:00 pm

WHERE: Rockville Park, Fairfield (further directions given after registration)

COST:   $30.00  (Deadline: April 10, 2018)

Register now and learn the basics of boy leaders, how to set up camp, cook, work with wood tools, knot tying and lashing, campfire planning, map reading and compass skills, hiking and camping techniques, plant and animal identification, and Outdoor Ethics.

Things to bring: Yourself and your camping gear including eating utensils
