The BSA National Executive Committee has approved temporary transition rules regarding extensions for Youth over 16 but not yet 18 years of age on Feb 1, 2019 to complete the requirements for the Eagle Scout Award. Follow the link below for the full text and implementation details.

Temporary Transition Rules

Sons of the American Revolution ( SAR ) invites Eagle Scouts who are not yet 19 and have an interest in the American Revolution to participate in the Arthur M. & Berdena King Eagle Scout Award.  Scholarships are awarded to the the top three candidates.

Effective October 1, 2018 the Service Center Hours will be:

Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Welcoming both girls and boys into the program means even more youth will have access to the character development and values-base leadership that Scouting promises.

This new toolkit is a great place to find information on working with Chartered Organizations to start new units.

On May 9th, the LDS Church and BSA announced that the LDS Church is going to conclude its relationship as a Chartered Partner with the Boy Scouts of America, on December 31, 2019, to pursue a world-wide youth church program.
